TT Diffusor 12" - Standard

Universal size for 12" speakers
Dome diameter: 80 mm - recommended for most of the guitar loudspeaker with average beaming

As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.

These terms have become synonymous with a vintage American design that is known and sought the world over. WGS now pays tribute to this classic with our WGS12L. However like all of our designs, we didn't set out to make a clone. With this model we paid extra special attention to the details, producing a speaker that delivers that same even response without sounding sterile and lifeless. Boasting a cast frame, 2.5" voice coil and a 200 watt rating, and clocking in at 18 pounds, this beast is loaded for bear.
