Description

The P10R-F was designe in cooperation with Fender for the reissue of the Fender Bandmaster.
The main difference compared with the original P10R is the lower sensitivity of 92,5 dB and the much lower resonance frequency of 87,3.
Also the top end is smoother and less harsh which makes the speaker a little bit softer in tone.

Best new speaker for the classic harmonica amp sound 2018 February. You can stop looking overseas on expensive so called hand made speakers with harp caps and stuff that only killing the life in your tone. This is very close to the original speakers of a Bassman 59 as it was. If you cup is tight they have a huge fat & dirty sound with a creamy high end. With a loose cup they have a natural and shimmering harp sound. Not as loud as many new speakers but they allow you to turn the volume up and let the amp work properly. caps and stuff that only killing the life in your tone. This is very close to the original speakers of a Bassman 59 as it was. If you cup is tight they have a huge fat & dirty sound with a creamy high end. With a loose cup they have a natural and shimmering harp sound. Not as loud as many new speakers but they allow you to turn the volume up and let the amp work properly.

As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.
