A well balanced speaker that can handle Fender Cleans, Filtertron Sparkle, Jazz, Blues, Classic/Southern Rock and any thing in between. I have loaded one into a Fender Mustang ii v2 and it has turned it into a Gig Worthy Amp. As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.

JJ 6V6 Double Mica double-layered mica in the upper part of the tube. This stabilizes the tube system and significantly reduces possible vibrations that can occur due to heavy mechanical stress. This version of the JJ 6V6 was specifically designed for use in combo amplifiers.

The JJ6V6 is a beam power pentode with octal base and a maximum plate dissipation of 14W. It has fat low end and full mid tones with very good tone separation and a smooth, clean high end - in general, a very balanced tone.
Currently, the only new production 6V6 which is approved for up to 500V anode voltage in pentode operation.
