TT Diffusor 12" - Standard

Universal size for 12" speakers
Dome diameter: 80 mm - recommended for most of the guitar loudspeaker with average beaming

As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.

Back in the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an 'H' type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. Result: a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So we added an 'H' magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback, create a speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Creamback levels of power handling. The result is the G12H-75 Creamback. Celestion guitar speakers have been an important part of British guitar tone since the birth of Rock & Roll.
Traditionally they’re known for lively and vocal midrange character with plenty of sparkle and chime which turns into an exciting growl when overdriven often compressing when pushed hard.
Inspired by our favourite modern American tones the A-Type is a different kind of guitar speaker from Celestion.
Of course it still has the musical and revealing three- dimensional quality that is the heart and soul of a Celestion guitar speaker however it
features a more laid-back midrange which reveals body and complexity in the upper register accompanied by full and rounded low frequencies.

The A-Type conveys a fluid even performance with an increased headroom threshold that allows your amp’s tone to shine through.
Clean players will love the smooth articulation; for rockers the brooding powerful low end threatens thunder that’s only a heavy riff away!

These terms have become synonymous with a vintage American design that is known and sought the world over. WGS now pays tribute to this classic with our WGS12L. However like all of our designs, we didn't set out to make a clone. With this model we paid extra special attention to the details, producing a speaker that delivers that same even response without sounding sterile and lifeless. Boasting a cast frame, 2.5" voice coil and a 200 watt rating, and clocking in at 18 pounds, this beast is loaded for bear. As a welcome addition to the WGS fleet, this speaker is definitely our battleship.

Note from the boss: "We compared both the EVM 12L and the WGS 12L in an 806 cabinet and it was almost impossible to tell them apart. The WGS 12L is a great alternative to the original and we recommend it without reservation as a perfect replacement for the EVM 12L."
