The JENSEN® "C" series speakers were developed because the world's supply of cobal (Co in AlNiCo) slump, making this raw material more expensive. While ceramic magnets are larger in size than comparable AlNiCo magnets of the same gauss strenght, their cost is lower. "C" series JENSEN® speakers use same cones and voice coils comparable to our AlNiCo series speakers, thus providing a similar tone but at a reduced price.

10" seamed ribbed cone with Large Ceramic Magnet, the replacement for C10N, paper voice coil.
Similar to the 10LC but with less output but a more balanced sound, with more sparkle on the top end. A slightly smoother sound that retains headroom.
Originally intended for studio or home use, many musicians claim it to be the closest to the original C10N from 4 and 5 decades ago.

Back in the late 60s, the G12H was created by fixing an 'H' type (heavy) magnet to the body of a G12M guitar speaker. Result: a speaker with more power and a different tonal balance: firmer bass and a more pronounced top end. So we added an 'H' magnet to the G12M-65 Creamback, create a speaker that delivers the sonic signature of a G12H combined with Creamback levels of power handling. The result is the G12H-75 Creamback. It delivers 75-watts of power handling with ease and has unmistakeable G12H tone, with a tighter low end than the G12M-65 Creamback and a punchier, more dynamic high end. Hint;
Often, 12AU7 and 12AT7 types are used instead of 12AX7 tubes in order to either reduce the overall power of the amplifier or just take back the overdrive of the preamp. Especially the 12AU7 brings a very large tonal difference compared to a 12AX7, which is usually much greater than when switching from a 12AX7 to 5751 or 12AT7.

When using a 12AU7 in a driver stage that is normally designed for 12AX7, the overall power of the power amp is usually reduced. How big this difference is depends on the amplifier or circuit.
