These terms have become synonymous with a vintage American design that is known and sought the world over. WGS now pays tribute to this classic with our WGS12L. However like all of our designs, we didn't set out to make a clone. With this model we paid extra special attention to the details, producing a speaker that delivers that same even response without sounding sterile and lifeless. Boasting a cast frame, 2.5" voice coil and a 200 watt rating, and clocking in at 18 pounds, this beast is loaded for bear. As a welcome addition to the WGS fleet, this speaker is definitely our battleship.

Note from the boss: "We compared both the EVM 12L and the WGS 12L in an 806 cabinet and it was almost impossible to tell them apart. The WGS 12L is a great alternative to the original and we recommend it without reservation as a perfect replacement for the EVM 12L."

The JENSEN® "C" series speakers were developed because the world's supply of cobal (Co in AlNiCo) slump, making this raw material more expensive. While ceramic magnets are larger in size than comparable AlNiCo magnets of the same gauss strenght, their cost is lower. "C" series JENSEN® speakers use same cones and voice coils comparable to our AlNiCo series speakers, thus providing a similar tone but at a reduced price.
