These terms have become synonymous with a vintage American design that is known and sought the world over.  WGS now pays tribute to this classic with our WGS12L. However like all of our designs, we didn't set out to make a clone.  With this model we paid extra special attention to the details, producing a speaker that delivers that same even response without sounding sterile and lifeless.  Boasting a cast frame, 2.5" voice coil and a 200 watt rating, and clocking in at 18 pounds, this beast is loaded for bear.  As a welcome addition to the WGS fleet, this speaker is definitely our battleship.

Note from the boss: "We compared both the EVM 12L and the WGS 12L in an 806 cabinet and it was almost impossible to tell them apart. The WGS 12L is a great alternative to the original and we recommend it without reservation as a perfect replacement for the EVM 12L."

The 12” BlackHawk™ alnico speaker has finally arrived! Now your 1x12” 30-50 watt amp can really rock. This guitar speaker will give your amp pristine top end, tight mids, and all just the right amount of warmth and bottom end. This speaker is the 50 watt version of the 12” Black & Blue alnico. This 50 watt version has more low end than its 15 watt cousin. This speaker is the perfect upgrade for your VOX™ AC30. Drop in replacement for Celestion™ Gold™ alnico speaker.

Originally re-released a little over a decade ago, the G12H remains hugely popular with players looking to recreate the classic sounds of 60s and 70s rock.

With a strong, aggressive low-end and powerful low-mids, the G12H penetrates any mix with an attacking upper mid-range and an ice-cool top- end. Used singly or in quartets it provides serious attitude to soft amp tones, easily cutting through loud stage levels for chord work, and imparting a hard edge to single notes.

A favourite in the 'boutique' amplifier market, the G12H is often used on its own or paired with a Celestion Blue or Gold for a full-bodied sound that adds ceramic attitude to the chime of an Alnico speaker.
