Very good for V1 position of a VOXAC15C1, clearer and with more bite than a JJ ECC83S V1 imho. Also a bit more gain.

I tried several combinations with three tungsol ,a jj and a chinese tube ,and finally decided to put the three tungsol together (V1,V2,V3) . Other combinations seem tasteless compared to the tungsols . It is a formidable tube in V1,a part of vintage ,clean sounds warm and pretty good in v2 for vintage hi gain . Very good Tube for V1...I have put one of these Tung Sol 12AX7 / ECC83 Reissue on my Ibanez TSA 15H and one on my Bugera V22 (on V1 also) The result is more musicality,more Gain, tight Low End and Smooth Highs + a very good sustain!!! I recomend it to any Guitarist who wants to Upgrade his preamp stage... I also changed the EL84 on the Bugera V22 for JJ Tesla's !!!Great sound ,Waouh !!! I also added 2X 6V6GT EH (Amp Stage) on my TSA15H and the result was quite Amazing!!! More Head room and Musicality!!! My Advise: Go for Tung Sol Reissue on V1 or V2,V3...You wont be desapointed!!! THX TUBE TOWN For your Fast Delivering (5 days from Germany to South of France...(in comparison,I still wait for Tubes I have Ordered Elsewere 8 Days ago...) is more musicality,more Gain, tight Low End and Smooth Highs + a very good sustain!!! The TT12AX7 impresses with its fine and detailed reproduction of the highs, which is maintained even at high amplification levels. Due to a higher H3 part, the TT12AX7 sounds significantly cleaner than many other 12AX7/ECC83 tubes, which makes the bass range appear much tighter. Tung-Sol 7189 / EL84 Reissue - High Quality - QUAD

In 1959 Tung-Sol developed a premium, up-rated version of the 6BQ5/EL84 for use in industrial and military circuits. This tube was designated 7189. Due to its higher plate voltage rating and increased clean headroom, it became a favorite power tube for use in medium power stereo amplifiers and receivers made by H. H. Scott, Sherwood, Fisher, Lafayette, and many other hi-fi manufacturers. It was also used in high-end guitar amplifiers manufactured by Magnatone. Due to its increased ratings, it was considered as an upgrade for 6BQ5/EL84 amplifiers for increased performance and reliability.

The original 7189 tube production ceased in the early 1980s and vintage 7189 tubes have become expensive and hard to find. In order to allow these fine vintage 7189 amplifiers and receivers to continue be used, the Tung-Sol 7189 tube has been reissued. The 7189 Tung-Sol® reissue is built to the same specifications as the original 7189 Tung-Sol for the high fidelity and performance expected from the vintage 7189 amplifiers and receivers produced in the 1960s and 1970s.

JJ 6V6 Red Labe - PAIR - Double Mica Special Edition

JJ 6V6 Double Mica double-layered mica in the upper part of the tube. This stabilizes the tube system and significantly reduces possible vibrations that can occur due to heavy mechanical stress. This version of the JJ 6V6 was specifically designed for use in combo amplifiers.

The JJ6V6 is a beam power pentode with octal base and a maximum plate dissipation of 14W. It has fat low end and full mid tones with very good tone separation and a smooth, clean high end - in general, a very balanced tone.
Currently, the only new production 6V6 which is approved for up to 500V anode voltage in pentode operation.

As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.
