Single tube, not matched JJ 6V6 Double Mica double-layered mica in the upper part of the tube. This stabilizes the tube system and significantly reduces possible vibrations that can occur due to heavy mechanical stress. This version of the JJ 6V6 was specifically designed for use in combo amplifiers. The JJ6V6 is a beam power pentode with octal base and a maximum plate dissipation of 14W. It has fat low end and full mid tones with very good tone separation and a smooth, clean high end - in general, a very balanced tone. Currently, the only new production 6V6 which is approved for up to 500V anode voltage in pentode operation.

R.F. DOUBLE TRIODE E88CC is the European Name of 6922/6DJ8. It is often used for Hi-Fi applications. It provides very smooth mids and high end with a lot of detail. Files:

Visually, compared to the normal JJ 12AX7, the long anode plates stand out, as well as a slightly higher current. Suits well in guitar and bass amps, but also in audio and high-end areas. Note: Tubes equipped with long plates are commonly associated with a "warmer" or "richer" sound, whereas those with shorter plates tend to deliver a "tighter sound". However, tubes featuring long plates exhibit increased sensitivity to vibrations and mechanical disturbances, rendering them less ideal for critical applications.
