Universal size for 12" speakers

As the frequency increases, the radiation of a loudspeaker is increasingly focused on its center. If the listener is in this beam, the sound is extremely harsh and biting; if one moves to the side of it, the sound becomes significantly darker and treble components are partially missing.
To reduce this behavior, a diffuser is used. This sits directly in the beam of the speaker and deflects the high frequencies very strongly, it breaks the "beam". This makes the sound much fuller and more balanced.

However like all of our designs, we didn't set out to make a clone.  With this model we paid extra special attention to the details, producing a speaker that delivers that same even response without sounding sterile and lifeless.  Boasting a cast frame, 2.5" voice coil and a 200 watt rating, and clocking in at 18 pounds, this beast is loaded for bear.  As a welcome addition to the WGS fleet, this speaker is definitely our battleship.

Note from the boss: "We compared both the EVM 12L and the WGS 12L in an 806 cabinet and it was almost impossible to tell them apart. The WGS 12L is a great alternative to the original and we recommend it without reservation as a perfect replacement for the EVM 12L."
