    I put these in the V2 and V3 positions of a VOXAC15C1. They sound good. For the V1 use either a 'V1' rated JJECC83S or a Tung Sol Reissue. Both sound good with the Tung Sol offering a bit more clarity and gain. Both sound good with the Tung Sol offering a bit more clarity and gain.

    I have put it in v2,v3,v4 position of my Peavey Ultra Plus following the suggestion of TT. I don't have a lot of experience about tubes but the clean is still sparkly and I don't notify any noise.I've replaced a Sovtek 12ax7 whit this. The crunch and ultra channel aren't noisy also. This will give you the benefit to get the often desired power amp overdrive at lower volume levels. We recommend this tube for low wattage amps to get a better sound at bedroom levels.
