- Jean-José D., 01/02/2026
- Lorenzo T., 07/24/2022The kit is perfect, in addition to the components, there is everything you need including screws, cables, zip ties, heat shrinkable tubes, tinned copper cables of two sizes, shielded cables, grommets. The wiring diagram and layout are very clear and explanatory, and the additional indications inside the transformers offer all the information for assembly. It takes some experience in electronics, it is not a kit for inexperienced people. And even for those who have some experience in electronics applied to music, it is necessary to carefully observe the images, the layout and possibly the guides on you tube, since this type of amplifier is very popular in the DIY community. Easy to build, cathode BIAS ( No setting needed ! ), just build and play ! Clean's section ( HI and Low) is magnificent ! Perfect for jazz or smooth blue ! The tone knob do his job perfectly we easily hear the different and the shades in the tone with it ! Secondly, the gain section, TMB, the volume knob became the gain and the master volume is perfect for people who play in small club, bedroom... and also for your neighborhood ahaha ! TMB's tone is perfect, a great Jimmy page, Hendrix, SRV sound or if you push the gain to the maximum, you have like a FUZZ or a great grunge sound ! (It depend of the diode you choose during the build) And to conclude , the amp take pedals perfectly ! Personally my amp is loaded with a 4*12 Marshall with WGS invader ! The tone is awesome ! Don't hesitate ! BUY ! BUILD ! AND PLAY ! Let's ROCK AND ROLL ! BIAS ( No setting needed ! ), just build and play ! Clean's section ( HI and Low) is magnificent ! Perfect for jazz or smooth blue !
