Kit Dumbleator

This is a kit of the famous Dumbleator, can be used as standalone device or for installation in an existing amplifier.

When build as a stand-alone device, the kit can be powered with the TT-VPump, in an amplifier the kit must be supplied via the existing power supply of the amp.

The Dumbleator offers numerous configuration options which are shown in the appended schematics.

Input Levels:
InA: 10-15 Vpp
InB: guitar level - 5 Vpp

The kit includes all the parts needed to build the "standard version" incl. a 12AX7, potentiometers and leads.
It does not include components that are required for the building the extended versions, as well as a power supply or casing.

The Dumbleator utilize POTENTIALLY FATAL HIGH VOLTAGES.
Seek help from a competent technician if you are in any way unfamiliar with high voltage circuits.

Another superb project. Worked out really well once I got the heater voltages grounded!! Works really well inside my Dumble 183 clone and adds a brilliant flexibility (highly recomend using the parallel loop option for those "transparent" moments). This with the LND reverb kit gives an AMAZING Mayer-ey tone...HIGHLY recomend Tube-Town for service, products and quality! brilliant flexibility (highly recomend using the parallel loop option for those "transparent" moments). TT VPump - Voltage Converter

The TT VPUMP kit is a very effective working voltage converter which generates an output voltage of 90 V DC to 220 V DC from a 12V DC input voltage.
The circuit is in use for many years now and it is proven. In this kit the circuit has been adapted to a compact size and optimized for use in small preamplifier chassis. So it is an ideal HV power supply for tube stompboxes and preamps without the need of additional transformers and HV filter capacitors.

The VPump can be operated with a standard 12V DC switching power supply.
The switching power supply is not included in the kit.
