JJ 12AX7 MG / ECC83 MG

Compared with the JJ 12AX7/ECC83, the JJ ECC83/12AX7 MG has a slightly smoother sound and appears to operate more linearly. It is ideal for low- to medium-gain amplifiers, audio applications, and for taming amplifiers with a very hot voicing. It is also a good alternative to the 5751 and 12AY7.

The JJ ECC803 is a premium 12AX7 / ECC83 type which was designed for audio applications.
With its rich, open sound and excellent spatial detail, it is a great choice for hi-fi and high-end equipment. It also works very well in classic guitar and bass amplifier circuits, where it adds clarity, depth and fine detail to the sound.

Note: Tubes equipped with long plates are commonly associated with a "warmer" or "richer" sound, whereas those with shorter plates tend to deliver a "tighter sound". However, tubes featuring long plates exhibit increased sensitivity to vibrations and mechanical disturbances, rendering them less ideal for critical applications.
