To build this project knowledge in electric engeneering, experience with high voltage, and the reading and understanding of schematics and dealing with measurement device is highly recommended .
There is NO step-by-step guide for beginners. The circuit and layout plan includes all relevant information. If you don't understand it then don't build it.

This kit is amazing, first of all the components needed are present, sometimes more than you actually need( screws, heat shrink tubes, wire). and second, the sound is amazing. i wanted a brian may like tone and the tone coming out of this amp is great for it. specially with a musikding trebble booster that i build in the same time. i took advantage of the 18w chassis that has holes pre drilled for an extra tube to add a second channel to match a real vox brian may edition with just a 12ax7 and a volume pot feeding directly the phase inverter and it worked well. overall i m really happy with this kit, really loud, so consider a power attenuator with it! second, the sound is amazing. i wanted a brian may like tone and the tone coming out of this amp is great for it. specially with a musikding trebble booster that i build in the same time. i took advantage of the 18w chassis that has holes pre drilled for an extra tube to add a second channel to match a real vox brian may edition with just a 12ax7 and a volume pot feeding directly the phase inverter and it worked well. overall i m really happy with this kit, really loud, so consider a power attenuator with it!
