- Pre-drill the hole: Use a drill to make a hole for the draw bolt. The hole must be at least 2 mm larger than the bolt diameter.
- If the hole is too small, the thread may be damaged.
- Insert the die: Push the die with the draw bolt through the pre-drilled hole.
- Screw on the punch: Thread the punch onto the draw bolt from the other side.
- Tighten evenly: Using a wrench, ratchet, or hydraulic punch driver, tighten the bolt slowly and evenly until you hear/feel a crack—this indicates the punching process is complete.
