Psvane 12AX7 / ECC83 preamp tube from the Classic series with red logo.

Psvane itself was created from a spin-off of Shuguang and produces a large part of the tubes on machines which were taken over by Guiguang in 2011.
The tubes in our test all exhibited very low noise floor and low microphonics.
In the measured values (emission measurement, statically measured), the tested tubes were quite close to the ideal value (e.g. 1.2 mA for 12AX7) and thus belong to the preamp tubes from current production with a relatively high emission. This is of minor importance if the tube is used for voltage amplification (which is certainly the case in 99% of the cases), but there are always customers who prefer preamp tubes with high emission values. The Psvane tubes are likely to appeal in this respect.

What you should know about Psvane tubes
Psvane Standard Series (red logo)
This is the standard series of tubes for everyday use and should also meet the majority of requirements.Psvane S-Art High-End Series (gold logo, gold contacts)
The Art-Series was launched in 2020 and is reportedly produced on machines that were taken over from Fullmusic. According to the manufacturer, for these tubes higher quality materials are used, which should lead to a better quality. This series is intended specifically for high-end users.Psvane itself was created from a spin-off of Shuguang and produces a large part of the tubes on machines which were taken over by Guiguang in 2011.
Tube-Town Rating (August 2021)
In subjective comparison to other preamp tubes from Chinese production, the Psvane preamtubes do sound smoother and less aggressive, which may be due to the somewhat recessed top end. Bass is tight but not obtrusive, even at high overdrive.The tubes in our test all exhibited very low noise floor and low microphonics.
