Great little amp. I dont have the Trainwreck to compare with but from what I heard on Youtube the sound tends to be close to the original.
I did not have any difficulties with the kit, even though it was my first amp that I fully assembled myself - the layout on the forum page is sufficiently explicit. I did't like that much the veroboard. It is quite small and if you want to use, let's say, different kind of resistors like RN65D, they may not fit. But that's not really a problem. All the parts provided are of a good quality. And besides that is why the amp is relatively small.
I put a ECC99 tube and it is veeery loud )
Overall impressions: really good sounding amp for such a small price!
