I used this transformer in combination with the TT 47va toroidal model to replace the special and hard-to-find power transformer of a DYNACO ST80 valve poweramp...this transformer runs cool and silent, it is free of noise and vibrations, it provides good regulation and induces absolutely no hum....definitely a very good product for the price. The expedition took only two days and the shipping costs are ridiculous....the guys at TT are doing a great job! JJ 6V6 Red Labe - QUAD - Double Mica

JJ 6V6 Double Mica double-layered mica in the upper part of the tube. This stabilizes the tube system and significantly reduces possible vibrations that can occur due to heavy mechanical stress. This version of the JJ 6V6 was specifically designed for use in combo amplifiers.

The JJ6V6 is a beam power pentode with octal base and a maximum plate dissipation of 14W. It has fat low end and full mid tones with very good tone separation and a smooth, clean high end - in general, a very balanced tone.
Currently, the only new production 6V6 which is approved for up to 500V anode voltage in pentode operation.
