Diese Röhre bietet sich an um das Übersteuerungsverhalten des Verstärkers zu zügeln und ab zu runden. Die 5751 hat eine geringere Leerlaufverstärkung als die 12AX7/ECC83 von nur 70 und kann in der Regel als direkter Ersatztyp für 12AX7 / ECC83 Röhren verwendet werden.
